Did you know that the Centre for Distance Learning and Innovation (CDLI) is NOT just for students? In fact, CDLI resources are available to anyone with a CDLI account, including teachers and parents.
One of their more innovative resources are Multimedia Learning Clips. These clips cover a broad range of courses including Biology 3201, English 3201, Earth Systems 3209, Core French 3200, Mathematics 3204/05, Physics 3204, World Geography 3202 and World History 3201. For each course, there is anywhere from 50-100 learning clips, with each clips running approximately eight minutes.
This is a tremendous benefit for students who have missed class time, or who are studying for a unit or public exam, or who would like clarification on certain lessons. Remember, CDLI courses utilize the same curriculum as face-to-face teacehers, albeit in a different manner of presentation.
New users can obtain an account by clicking HERE and then clicking Request Account.
The CDLI Help Desk staff will respond by e-mail with a username, pin number and password within one business day. Users can then browse, download and interact with the clips.
