SCHOOL CLOSURE: There will not be any classes on WEDNESDAY for students from grades K - 6 as teachers will be involved in a Professional Development Day.

REPORT CARDS will be distributed at the General Assembly on Thursday, June 25th  from 10:00 - 11:30 AM.  We will also be naming  the “Students of the Month”, etc.

Congratulations to Mr. Jamie Roebothan and his wife Rhonda on the arrival of their new Baby Boy!! We wish them much love and happiness as new parents!!

RECYCLABLES FOR STELLA MARIS ACADEMY. . . We would appreciate it if you  can hold your recyclables until September when we will be holding a big “Recyclable Blitz”!!  If you do not have the space to hold them and would like to get rid of them, you can drop them off to the Depot in Witless Bay where they will pay .5 (Please tell them it’s for Stella Maris)

THANK YOU AND CONGRATULATIONS to ALL those who took part in our Grand-parents Day on Thursday. Your entertainment was enjoyed by all who attended. We also thank the Parents/Grand-parents and friends who attended.

THANK YOU and FAREWELL to Chasity Corrigan who has been with us for the last six weeks. Chasity has been an invaluable help to many students in preparing for their exams and we are very thankful for her dedication. We wish her well as she continues her studies at Memorial University next year.

SUMMER PREPARATORY PROGRAM
FOR SUPPLEMENTARY PUBLIC EXAMS

The Eastern School District is offering a Summer Preparatory Program for Supplementary Public Exams.  This program will run from Monday, August 3 through to and including Saturday, August 8 from 9:00 to 3:00 at O’Donel High School in Mount Pearl.

Registration will take place at O’Donel High School on Thursday, July 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  $120.00 per course.  Registration forms will be available on the website and at the school on registration night.

Classes will be offered where there are sufficient numbers.

Cash/Debit, Visa/Mastercard available.  NO CHEQUES ACCEPTED.
